IKE digital kiosks find new homes in Raleigh

Raleigh Transportation is coordinating with IKE Smart Cities, LLC (IKE) and Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) on the deployment of smart kiosks in multiple locations within the downtown area.

This initiative was approved by City Council at their April 19, 2022 meeting. Agreements were executed between the City, DRA, and IKE in November 2022 and per these agreements, a network of 15 to 20 kiosks will be located within City right of way. IKE kiosks (Interactive Kiosk Experience) are to be placed within the service area as defined in the agreement with IKE installing and maintaining the kiosks and DRA managing informational content. Additional locations are being explored.

Currently, we have 11 sites that are live and open for use. More to come!

A ribbon cutting ceremony to highlight this new interactive information system for Downtown Raleigh was held on Tuesday, November 14 at 239 Fayetteville Street.
