Raleigh is continuing its commitment to making our city more accessible for everyone—and we’d love for you to be part of that conversation.
Join us Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Operations Way Facility (2550 Operations Way, Raleigh) for a public meeting on the City’s ADA Transition Plan for the public right of way. The presentation begins at 10 a.m., and Raleigh Transportation staff—along with our consultant team—will be onsite to answer your questions, share updates, and listen to your feedback. Snacks will be provided!
This meeting isn’t just for members of the ADA community—it’s for anyone who cares about creating a more inclusive, connected Raleigh. Whether you walk, roll, ride, or drive through our city, accessibility impacts all of us. You’ll learn how the ADA Transition Plan guides improvements to sidewalks, crossings, and programs so that everyone can get where they need to go safely and comfortably. In advance of the meeting, check out the City of Raleigh Right of Way Summary of Findings document to learn more about inventory and assessment of sidewalk and pedestrian facilities in Raleigh.
