The BRT Stakeholder Committee was created to bring a group of individuals together to guide and provide feedback to the BRT project team.
The stakeholders include a wide range of individuals who represent the general public, elected officials, interest groups, and various organizations. The Committee receives updates on the BRT projects and provides input from the perspective of the community and/or their organization. They also give feedback on specific needs, desires, and concerns of the community and/or their organization.
Stakeholders will be identified and asked to participate in the ongoing planning of the projects as each BRT corridor moves forward. Quarterly meetings are used to discuss and provide updates on the BRT project planning efforts.
The next Stakeholder Committee meeting is anticipated in Spring/Summer 2023.
Wake BRT Branding Listening Sessions
As part of the Wake BRT branding process, listening sessions with stakeholders were held to understand the feelings and attitudes about the future BRT brand. A total of three listening sessions were held in Fall 2020.
