Congratulations to the Stormwater Sticker Contest Winners!

We are excited to announce the new sticker designs for Raleigh Stormwater's outreach events in 2025!

In November, the Stormwater Maintenance Team held a public sticker contest inviting residents to submit their designs for future stormwater stickers with themes such as, ‘Water Connects Us,’ ‘Water is Life,’ ‘Clean Pipes, Clean Rivers,’ among others.  The team received 29 submissions from students ranging from 2^nd grade to 12^th grade. From those submissions staff selected 3 winners as well as one honorable mention, all listed below.

Thank you to everyone who submitted artwork!  You can see the new stickers in person at some of Raleigh Stormwater’s tabling events starting in early 2025. 

1st Place: Charlotte Claiborne, 5^th Grade

2nd Place: Sofia Garcia Vazquez, 8^th Grade

3rd Place: Bailey McKenzie, 4^th Grade

Honorable Mention: Kevin McMahon and Alpha Stylo, Raleigh Convention Center Maintenance Department
