East Lane Street Public Meeting

We are hosting a public meeting to share information about the East Lane Drainage Improvements project. Design is near completion and we would like your feedback on construction for this drainage project.

When: Thursday, October 8, 5-6:30 p.m.

Where: Tarboro Road Community Center (121 North Tarboro Street)

Background

We designed a long-term drainage solution for the neighborhood near East Lane Street that would reduce flooding and improve stormwater conditions. We will install new stormwater pipes and drains in the city right-of-way on East Lane Street and towards Linden Avenue to improve drainage.
