Due to low water levels, Lake Wheeler boat launch ramps are closed until further notice. All patrons with trailered boats will not have access to launch ramps.
Boat launch access for hand-carry boats will remain open. Additionally, all boaters need to be aware of potential low-water hazards and exposed shorelines during this time.
