How do I apply for a Building Up-fit Grant?

Applications are accepted during the quarterly grant cycles, listed below. Applications are not available online. Businesses or commercial property owners must participate in a pre-application meeting to obtain a Building Up-fit Grant application. Pre-application meetings are held during the quarterly grant cycles.

Applications can be delivered to the Office of Economic Development located at One Exchange Plaza, Suite 727 or emailed to Rafael Baptista at rafael.baptista@raleighnc.gov copying Amanda Driscoll at amanda.driscoll@raleighnc.gov

Hand-delivered applications must be received by 5:00pm the day the grant cycle closes. E-mailed applications must be received by 11:59PM the day the grant cycle closes.

 

Adara Spa Receives Building Up-fit Grant

In 2018, Adara Spa received a Building Up-fit Grant. Adara Spa used the Building Up-fit Grant to improve the interior of the business' space including HVAC, painting, and flooring.
