Deputy Chief Rico Boyce began his law enforcement career in 2000 as part of the Raleigh Police Department’s 76th Academy. His academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Business Administration, as well as a session from the Administrative Officers Management Program at North Carolina State University. Aside from traditional education, he also attended the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA, and graduated with Class 284.
As Deputy Chief of Operations, he oversees both the Field Operations and Special Operations Divisions.
