Request Fire Education Event: Safety Check, Station Tour, School Program, more

The Raleigh Fire Department offers various fire prevention and safety education programs. These programs include:

Home safety check/smoke alarm request;
Fire station tours;
Fire truck display;
Fire education program for schools (2nd and 3rd grade school program);
NFPA Steps for Safety (seniors program);
Workplace safety;
Fire evacuation;
Fire extinguisher training; and,
General safety.

To request a fire education program event, please complete the form below. Note that submission of request does not confirm availability. An event request includes an informational presentation, and it does not include a fire truck, unless specifically noted.

There is a 14 day notice required for all events. All presentations and requests must be within the City of Raleigh.

Fire Station Tour Requests
If you are requesting a fire station tour, you will be asked to select the fire station you would like to tour. To find out the correct fire station, view a list of Raleigh fire stations.

Virtual Reality Training

The virtual reality training uses VR headsets to create various fire scenarios and the user holds a fire extinguisher prop to help simulate the experience.

Live Fire Training

The live fire training offers a real fire scenario using a fire extinguisher to put out actual flames.
