Officer Gabriel Torres was shot and killed during an ambush. Officer Torres was sitting in his personal vehicle getting ready to leave his residence for his tour of duty in the Northwest District when he was ambushed by the suspect.
Officer Torres was one of five people killed during the Hedingham mass shooting incident of October 13, 2022. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
