Reflecting Raleigh Portraits

As we begin shaping the next chapter of our city’s future, we’re launching Reflecting Raleigh, a portrait campaign spotlighting the people who live, work, and play here. This campaign is part of the outreach for the next update to Raleigh’s Comprehensive Plan, a long-term vision for how our city will grow and evolve in the decades to come.

Our current plan looks ahead to 2030, but it’s time to start thinking even further. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for residents, workers, students, business owners, artists, parents, volunteers—anyone who considers Raleigh home—to take part. Participants will be featured in a series of social media portraits celebrating the people behind our city's progress and hopes for the future.

During a brief, informal photo session, we’ll also ask a few simple questions to learn more about:

• What do you love most about Raleigh?
• How you’d describe the city today?
• Your vision for Raleigh 50 years from now
• Any community involvement you’d like to share

Whether you’ve lived here for decades or just arrived, your perspective helps shape what comes next.
