Center Programs

A fitness room with cardio equipment and machines at Halifax Park

Fitness Room

  • The fitness room offers:
    • Two treadmills
    • One elliptical
    • One recumbent bike
    • One rower
    • One universal weight machine
    • Medicine balls
    • Dumbbells ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.
  • Memberships available for $15 per month
  • Fitness room closes 15 minutes prior to building closing

Rentals

Request your rental online using RecLink or by reaching out to the facility. 

  • All rooms/spaces must be rented for a minimum of two hours.
  • There is a $15 application fee.
  • There is a $100 damage deposit required for all rentals. It may be refunded if the renter adheres to the contract and stays within the rented time.
  • There is an additional fee of $30 per hour for any indoor rentals that occur outside of operating hours.
  • Non-Resident Rental Fee: A 25% fee applies to the hourly rental rate for non-residents. This fee does not apply to security deposits, staffing fees, or other additional charges.

Take note: Requests will be subject to staff approval. Upon approval, payment will be required to confirm the reservation. Your reservation is not finalized until you receive confirmation of your payment.

Gymnasium

  • Heating and air conditioning
  • 6 goals (2 main and 4 sides)
  • Tarkett sports flooring with lines for basketball, volleyball, and walking track
  • Curtain divider available
  • No food or drink allowed in the gym besides water
  • Capacity: 619
  • $85/hr.

Extra Large Meeting Room

  • Mounted ceiling projector with pull-down viewing screen
  • Audio outlets with speakers throughout the room
  • Mounted whiteboard
  • Can be divided into two smaller rooms
  • Capacity: 75
  • $75/hr. (2-hour minimum)

Warming Kitchen

  • Food may be warmed only, not prepared from scratch
  • Kitchen available for use only when the meeting room has been rented
  • Amenities include refrigerator, stove, and microwave
  • $25/hr.

  • Next to the playground
  • Capacity: 15–20
  • 2 tables
  • No grills
  • Access to electricity
  • Access to restrooms during center hours
  • First come, first served
  • Available to rent for $10/hr.
