Davie Street Park

Davie Street was dedicated to Lucille Hunter in 1927 who was the first African American teacher in North Carolina to have a school named after her.

Park has an outdoor basketball court, a playground for 2-12-year-olds, and a picnic shelter. In general, parks are open from dawn to dusk every day.
