State-Sponsored Construction Process
The City has created a formal process, guided by the Special Projects Team (SPT), to support State-Sponsored Construction in order to keep these more complex projects moving.
Within two business days of receiving an inquiry, the SPT reviews the project scope and coordinates with the appropriate departments to offer one or more of the following services:
- Brief Touchpoint Meeting for straightforward projects.
- Scoping Meeting for more complex, multi-departmental reviews.
- Site Permit Review if permitting is needed.
This structured approach ensures state contractors receive timely, coordinated, and clear guidance throughout their project.
