Tickets Know Before You Go Parking

Raleigh Parks has made the difficult decision to cancel Holiday Express for 2020. Our top priorities are the health and safety of our community. While we are very disappointed, we feel that this is in the best interest of our visitors and staff. We are hard at work planning other ways to bring you cheer this holiday season!

Please follow @RaleighParks on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram or visit parks.raleighnc.gov to stay up to date on the latest programs and events.

Know Before You Go

Inclusion Services

Holiday Express will offer sensory friendly tools this year! Stop by the Welcome Center to check-out a sensory-friendly kit with communication lanyards and description cards for the event (quantities are limited). The Welcome Center will also be a quiet space for those with noise sensitivities. Sensory bins will be placed along Reindeer Row for tactile sensory experience. Specialized recreation staff will be available for assistance and any questions you may have throughout the evening. Please visit the welcome center to request assistance.

Giant Snow Globe

The Rotary Club of Crabtree will once again be bringing the giant snow globe. Join us with your family for some frolicking in this winter wonderland.
Choose from:
a. Shared experience – you will be paired with other families to enjoy the snow globe for a limited time.
b. Private experience – great for a photo op with just your family and friends   (the wait for the private experience may be significantly longer than the shared experience)

Meet Santa

This year’s Santa meet and greet will take place in a virtual queue.  At the Holiday Express entrance, look for staff who will provide you with access information for the virtual queue.  You can then use your smartphone to join the queue.    Once you are paged, it will be a short wait until your family gets to visit with Santa.  Please be aware that this virtual wait may exceed several hours.  During this time, feel free to enjoy all the other offerings at Holiday Express.

Parking

Primary parking for Holiday Express will be at the Coliseum Parking Deck located off of Pullen Road and Dunn Avenue. The deck is a short walk from the back entrance of Pullen Park.  Parking at the deck requires a free permit which can be obtained by following the directions below. When you arrive at Pullen Park, you will find our entrance team ready to scan your tickets.

A very limited amount of parking will be available at Pullen Park.  If you or any member of your party has mobility challenges, you can also drop off at the front of the park and then proceed to the best available parking.
