Raleigh Parks Launches Fall Health and Wellness Pilot Classes

Glen Eden Pilot Park and Jaycee Park

New offerings invite residents to explore movement, relaxation, and strategies for managing stress and burnout.

Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources is introducing a series of fall pilot classes designed to expand opportunities for residents to support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The Fall Health & Wellness Pilot Series features three distinct programs: WARRIOR Rhythm ROOTS™, Burnout Prevention & Nervous System Reset, and Reiki for Relaxation, offering participants different ways to move, recharge, and build practical wellness strategies.

The pilot series is also an opportunity for Raleigh Parks to learn directly from participants. Feedback from the classes will help inform future Health & Wellness programming and identify the types of experiences residents would like to see offered throughout the community.

Help Shape the Future of Health and Wellness Programming

These classes are part of Raleigh Parks' ongoing effort to explore accessible and engaging approaches to community health and wellness. Because the programs are offered as pilots, participant experiences and feedback will play an important role in determining how these and similar programs may be developed in the future.

Residents are encouraged to try something new, share their feedback and help Raleigh Parks continue building health and wellness opportunities that reflect the interests and needs of the community.
