How to Take Better Photographs with the Camera You Already Have

We are adding a new class at Abbotts Creek called "How to take better photographs with the camera you already have".

Members from the Capital City Camera Club will be leading this class. Topics will include technical fundamentals such as exposure triangle, histogram, metering, depth of field, and shooting in various modes, including manual mode.

We will also cover artistic fundamentals like composition, subject placement, point of view, and developing your photographic eye. Additionally, students will learn some problem-solving skills to improve their photos “on the fly”. Students will need to bring their own camera and should have a basic working knowledge of their camera.

Pre-registration is required for this program, and all payments will go to the Play it Forward Scholarship campaign for Raleigh Parks.

Location: Abbotts Creek Park
