Pumpkin Palooza

Come and join us for an evening of family fun and creativity as we ring in the fall season! We will decorate pumpkins and enjoy tasty treats to inspire the most outrageous designs and creations.

Sensory Play Social: Pumpkin Edition

Come explore a rotation of Fall themed sensory play stations, crafts, and activities. The October 6 session is pumpkin themed. Sensory bins are filled with textures or objects for children to explore. 

They can focus on different themes or skills to stimulate the senses, learn through play, and can help regulate the nervous system. Sensory bins may contain small pieces, so we ask caregivers to participate to help create an environment for safe & fun exploration.

Pre-K & Parent: Acting Through Storytelling

Step into a world of imagination and play with your little one in this engaging Pre-K class designed for children and their grown-ups instructed by North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre (NRACT)! 

Through lively storytelling, movement, and simple role-play, young learners will explore characters, emotions, and environment in a fun, supportive space. This class encourages creativity, language development, and social skills — all while strengthening the bond between child and parent. Perfect for budding performers and imaginative minds!

Senior Community Improv Class

Join us for a fun and energizing improv class instructed by North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre (NRACT) designed specifically for the senior community! No experience needed — just a willingness to play, laugh, and try something new. 

Through easy, low-pressure games and activities, you’ll boost creativity, sharpen your mind, and enjoy playful exploration and connections with others. Whether you’re quick with a punchline or a lifelong storyteller, this class is a great way to stay mentally active, socially engaged, and have a whole lot of fun.

Diwali Festival of Lights

We invite you to celebrate the 2026 Diwali holiday, also known as The Festival of Lights, with a fun celebration. Diwali marks the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and the beginning of the New Year. Diwali encourages artistic expression through vibrant performances, unique exhibits, and colorful decorations.

This family friendly event will include activities and crafts to replicate components within a Diwali celebration such as colored sand, special candles and lanterns, and music. Please join us and help spread the light, color and joy of this widely celebrated tradition.
