Free Diabetes/A1C Screenings

The City of Raleigh and WakeMed are teaming up to provide adults with free Diabetes/A1C screenings.

An A1C screening is a simple blood test to measure your average blood sugar levels over the past 2 to 3 months. It helps detect pre-diabetes and diabetes. The team will provide education, health care resources and the opportunity to receive free continuous glucose monitoring to those who qualify.

Screenings are open to adults, age 18+, while supplies last.
