Car Care 101

Whether you are a brand-new driver or you just want to feel more prepared, this class will give you the practical skills and roadside confidence needed to give you greater peace of mind and tools to take better care of your car.

Car Tire

Tires 101

Location: Jaycee Community Center
Date: Tuesday, Sept. 15
Time: 6:30 - 8 p.m.

You will go from feeling deflated to elated when we explore the gripping world of tread, plugging, changing, tire types, tires pressures, and how to access more information about your tires specifically. So, slow your roll and stop on by!

Brake It Easy

Location: Jaycee Community Center
Date: Wednesday, Sept. 23
Time: 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Instead of “braking” your spirits and the bank, stop by today to learn about “braking” your car instead. In this class we will go over tips to help guide conversations with mechanics, as well as tips to replace and maintain your brakes.

Car Hood

Pop your hood and let's learn about the “secret juices” that keeps your car rolling. In this class we will learn about what and where certain fluids are located, why does my dashboard light up like a Christmas tree, and how to keep up with those “secret juices.”

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 6
Time: 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Get ready to “spark” your curiosity and take “charge” of your car battery. In this class we will learn about the different types of batteries, how to find one for you, new vs old, and where it is located. We will also go over the electrical systems of the car and how they all work together. Warning: this class may cause surges of high confidence and excitement!
