The City joined the Raleigh Housing Authority, community partners, local leaders, and residents to celebrate this milestone and the collaborative effort behind the transformation.
“Affordability and affordable housing are absolutely key priorities,” Mayor Janet Cowell said at the event. “This site is an incredible site. The opportunity, the amenities, this large acreage, to be able to have mixed income, that is a best practice.”
City Manager Marchell Adams-David spotlighted the important role partnerships play in projects like Heritage Park.
