The center is named in honor of Sgt. Courtney T. Johnson, lifetime Southgate resident and employee at the center, who died while fighting in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Non-Resident Rental Fee: A 25% fee applies to the hourly rental rate for non-residents. This fee does not apply to security deposits, staffing fees, or other additional charges.
