The City of Raleigh is now providing free rentals of small yard equipment for Raleigh citizens. This program is a collaboration between the City of Raleigh’s Housing & Neighborhoods and Community Engagement Departments.
Program Eligibility
Raleigh Tool Share is available for non-commercial use for folks living within Raleigh city limits.

Tool Pick Up and Drop Off
Borrowed items must be picked up and dropped off by the resident who is taking responsibility for them at the Raleigh Pathways Center at 900 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27601. Items must be picked up from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. Items must be returned on the following Monday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Once your Lending Request Form has been received, a Tool Share team member will contact you to make the necessary arrangements.
When you pick up your tool(s) and equipment, show your NC-issued identification and proof of Raleigh residency such as a utility bill with your name and address on it, and sign a copy of the Tool Loan Agreement with Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk form. You will be given a copy of the form.
