Traffic Barricades and Neighborhood Block Parties

If your neighborhood is planning to use traffic barricades, check the Neighborhood Block Party Requests to see if you need to apply for your event.  Neighborhood block parties are small events that close a few blocks on a local-service, residential street.

The Office of Emergency Management and Special Events reviews applications for neighborhood block parties and other types of events. For more information, please email specialevents@raleighnc.gov or call 919-996-2200
