The Housing and Neighborhoods Department strives to increase the supply of safe, decent, and affordable housing and to enhance the social and economic well-being of all Raleigh residents, but particularly those who have special needs or require supportive services. Additionally, the Department strives to ensure healthy and viable neighborhoods of choice with engaged and informed citizens.
