City of Raleigh 2026 Affordable Housing Forum A community conversation on housing solutions.

Raleigh is growing fast. As the population grows and development gets costlier, rents and home prices are rising. The City of Raleigh is committed to tackling housing affordability challenges to ensure every Raleigh resident has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home – but we can’t do it alone.

Join us for a community conversation on housing solutions at the City of Raleigh’s Affordable Housing Forum!

The event will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (doors open at 12:15 p.m.).

Registration goes live on June 8. Spots for this free event are limited, so mark your calendars now. You can also sign up for updates.

The 2026 Affordable Housing Forum brings together community members, local leaders, advocates, experts, and anyone who cares about housing to share ideas, explore solutions, and strengthen collaboration around housing affordability and ending homelessness.

Housing affordability impacts people across Raleigh, and it hits our neighbors with lower incomes the hardest. The 2026 Affordable Housing Forum is your space to discuss what is working, what remains challenging, and where we can go from here.
