Raleigh is excited to celebrate the Carolina Hurricanes Stanely Cup win with all their fans on Saturday, June 20. Here are some important things to know before you go to make your experience in downtown Raleigh the best one yet!

Parking in Downtown Raleigh

Five decks, marked on the map will offer free parking for the celebration:

  1. Cabarrus St.
    436 S. Salisbury St. 
  2. Moore Square Deck
    233 S. Wilmington St. 
  3. City Center Deck
    429 S. Wilmington St. 
  4. City Hall Parking Deck
    201 W. Morgan St. 
  5. Wilmington St. Station Deck
    117 S. Wilmington St. 

Additionally, the Performing Arts Center and Convention Center Decks will cost $10.

Getting Downtown via Transit

To avoid traffic and congestion in downtown, we encourage visitors to consider GoRaleigh for getting into downtown, as large crowds are expected.

GoRaleigh Routes to GoRaleigh Station (Moore Square)

  • Capital Blvd (Route 1) 
  • Glenwood Ave (Route 6) 
  • Falls of Neuse (Route 2) 
  • New Bern Ave (Route 15) 
  • S Saunders (Route 7) 
  • Hillsborough St (Route 9) 
  • Western/Avent Ferry (Route 11) 
  • Martin Luther King Blvd (Route 19) 
  • Biltmore Hills (Route 5) 

The fare is $2.50 for a Day Pass and riders can pay using cash on the bus or by downloading the UMO app to set up an account and pay via the app.

GoTriangle Routes to Raleigh Union Station

  • 100 Regional Transit Center (Park and Ride available) 
  • 300 Cary Depot (Park and Ride available) 
  • 305 Apex – Lake Pine Plaza (Park and Ride available) 

Coming from Durham?

You can take the 700 from Durham Station to the Regional Transit Center, and transfer to the 100.

Coming from Chapel Hill?

You can take the 800 from Chapel HIll to the Regional Transit Center, and transfer to the 100.

Lime/Spin Bikes and Scooters

Should you choose to ride one of the many bikes or scooters downtown, please be aware there is a no-ride zone around the parade route. Bikes and scooters will not be allowed in the no-ride zone between 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Please park your bike or scooter in designated parking zones, or use your best judgement, keeping them out of sidewalks, roads, or anywhere that may block safe walking and driving paths.
