Mayor Baldwin officially proclaimed October 8-14, 2023 as Raleigh National Minority Enterprise Development Week. MED Week is a special week in the month of October, observed in the United States to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of the minority business enterprise community.
The City of Raleigh's Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) program hosted an event on October 7 to celebrate the achievements and impacts of minority and women-owned businesses in North Carolina that have contributed to City projects. Event attendees enjoyed a brunch, panel discussion, networking and more!
