We are months away from debuting our new community engagement vehicle—but we need your help to decide which local artist will bring this van to life! The four artists with designs that are up for consideration are:
- Raman Bhardwaj
- Sarahlaine Calva
- Max Dowdle
- Sloane Siobhan
We’re asking you to vote on your favorite design by Sept. 17. We hope that this process provides community members with a sense of ownership and pride when they see the vehicle rolling around town. Our goal is that this vehicle will reflect Raleigh’s cultural roots and diversity.
City staff will use this vehicle to travel around Raleigh bringing resources and opportunities directly to the community. The vehicle is a vital tool in our education and outreach efforts, particularly in neighborhoods that have historically been underrepresented in decision-making processes.
