This New Year, we’re excited to announce that the Neighborhood Enrichment team, previously a part of Housing and Neighborhoods, is officially merging with the Community Engagement team. This partnership marks a new chapter in how the City supports and uplifts its neighborhoods and broader Raleigh community.
The merger brings together two dynamic teams with shared goals and values: fostering stronger connections, empowering residents, and enriching the quality of life in Raleigh’s diverse communities. By uniting their efforts, the combined group will be better equipped to create programs, host events, and provide resources that make a difference in the lives of our residents.
“Bringing these groups together unlocks a new level of engagement for the City of Raleigh. Engagement requires relationships, and building relationships takes time,” says Tiesha Mosely, Director of Community Engagement.
“This merger provides the unique opportunity to connect residents, programs, and community input in a very meaningful way. I am honored to lead such a passionate and experienced team of engagement professionals.”
This move reflects the City’s commitment to innovation and collaboration. It’s not just about efficiency—it’s about creating a stronger, more vibrant Raleigh for everyone.
Stay tuned for updates and get ready to join us in celebrating this exciting step forward for Raleigh.
