On Sept. 13, 2025, nearly 300 attendees and 90 exhibitors came together for the 2025 Engage Raleigh Expo, a celebration of collaboration and community engagement.
The event featured keynote speaker Dr. Valencia Hicks-Harris, Executive Director of Empower All, Inc., who spoke on this year's theme “One Community, Many Generations.” Her message emphasized the value of intergenerational connections, shared experiences, and building stronger communities.
Attendees also took part in workshops on topics such as legacy building, intergenerational relationships, digital literacy, storytelling, community preparedness, and supporting college students. Each session highlighted ways residents can contribute to a more connected and engaged city.
