Solid Waste Services Beat the Heat Operations

Solid Waste Services collection may be delayed due to high heat index. Customers are asked to keep garbage, recycling, and yard waste carts at the curb until serviced. The City will not issue warnings or fines during this period. 

Have Your Carts at the Curb by 6 a.m.

To assist our collection crews with beating the heat, we remind curbside customers to please have their carts out for collection by 6 a.m. on your collection day. The best thing to do is put your carts out the night before.
