On Saturday, April 22, Raleigh Fire Department Recruit Academies 50 and 51 will sponsor a blood drive from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Keeter Training Center (105 Keeter Center Drive). Recruits are teaming up with The Blood Connection on the event. This is the first blood drive hosted by an RFD recruit academy.
A $20 charitable donation will be made to the Raleigh Fire Museum per donor. Donors will receive free admission to the museum and $20 in rewards. The rewards are Blood Connection reward points that can be used for e-gift cards.
