The Raleigh Fire Department is again collecting toys for the annual Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. You can donate new, unwrapped toys at any RFD fire station until Friday, Dec. 15.

The program’s mission is to distribute toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. Through the gift of a new toy, the Marine Corps, along with its partners, helps bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.

You can donate toys for children who range in age from babies to teenagers. In 2022, the program supported about 25,000 children in the greater Raleigh area (these were toys collected through all local partners).

“We’re proud to participate in this valuable program every year,” said Senior Firefighter Harrison Todd from the Raleigh Fire Department.
