Social Diversity Reading for Kids

John P. “Top” Greene Center

As community leaders, we have a unique opportunity to introduce young children to the diverse tapestry of cultures around the world.

Teaching preschoolers about different cultures expands their horizons and fosters respect and appreciation for diversity. We encourage children to explore geography and cultures through engaging books and mapping activities.

Our new Social Diversity Reading Program for kids was founded by Micah Ruffin, a preschooler and Raleigh native who loves to read maps. The goal is to integrate cultural diversity into our educational environment and family-friendly activities. Our educational activities will teach children about the world's differences and help build a sense of community and respect for various cultures. Enjoy exploring and celebrating the richness of our global heritage!
