Curious about nature? Want to learn more about what’s around you? Try Junior birding!
Our Junior Birding program will introduce children to concepts and techniques they can apply to the wider natural world. Meeting once a week for three consecutive weeks, Junior Birders will learn what characteristics make a bird, and how birds grow and communicate, and gain experience observing and identifying local species.
We recommend bringing a water bottle and wearing comfortable shoes. A notebook for recording observations is also recommended! Our trail is paved, so Junior Birders of all experiences and abilities are welcome! Please have an adult present for each participant.
