Juneteenth at Mordecai

Celebrate Juneteenth at Mordecai Historic Park as we honor the lives of enslaved and freed people who lived at Mordecai.

Take a themed park tour or hop on the Historic Raleigh Trolley for a special Black History tour of downtown. Try a Hands-on History craft and enjoy a StoryWalk to learn more about this holiday.

Join a History Workshop for an introduction to oral history or African American genealogy, led by experts from the Southern Oral History Program and Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society.

Workshops and tours are ticketed and registration is encouraged; all other activities are free. Purchase tickets at the Mordecai Historic Park Visitor Center or online at reclink.raleighnc.gov. For more information, please call 919-996-4364
