Celebrate Earth Day at Mordecai Historic Park and get your herb, vegetable, and flower gardens started for the season!
Heirloom varieties of plants will be on sale for great prices. All plants are started from seed by the Mordecai Historic Park gardeners. Plants will include tomatoes, peppers, squash, herbs, and much more. Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and provide more information about the garden and grounds at Mordecai Historic Park!
There will also be short educational presentations by the Wake County Beekeepers Association at 10 a.m. and the Raleigh Garden Club at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26. Come purchase some incredible plants at low prices and learn about local efforts to help Raleigh’s plants thrive while you support the park!
The sale will take place both on April 25 and 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mordecai Visitor Center. For questions or more information, please call 919-996-4364.
