District E Council Member David Knight will host a virtual listening session on Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m. This session will focus on the City’s Solid Waste Services Department, with a focus on the current changes to the yard waste program.
The featured speaker will be Stan Joseph, Director of Solid Waste Services for the City of Raleigh. Mr. Joseph will share information about the department’s operations and initiatives, including the current work to enhance the City’s yard waste collection service. The listening session is open to everyone, but it will be particularly of interest to residents in District E, which covers much of Northwest Raleigh. Following Mr. Joseph’s remarks, Council Member Knight will lead a brief discussion and field questions.
