Find It Fridays is an exciting community science program from Raleigh Parks!
Find It Fridays events are a user-friendly, self-guided, and self-paced activity where participants will use the free iNaturalist smartphone app to collect observations of plants, animals, insects, and any other living organisms found within Raleigh parks and nature preserves. The best part – you don’t have to be an expert to participate! The iNaturalist app allows you to share photo observations with experts around the world who can help identify what you've found.
After the event, prizes and a social media shout-out will be awarded to participants who have the most verified observations. Participants must register in advance. Register online via RecLink.
Events will be held all day on one Friday each month, so visitors are welcome to participate any time and for as long as they like while the park is open.
