Durham Parks and Recreation will host a free program to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme is MLK: Remembering the Legacy through the Arts. Participants will enjoy a series of activities highlighting the components in the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. including visual art displays, poetry open mic, community discussions, live performances, arts and crafts projects and more. The event is free and open to the public.
