Capital Area Workforce Development Board is hosting information sessions to talk about their introduction to entrepreneurship program, Pathway to Entrepreneurship (PTE), on Tuesday, May 21st from 5:30-7:00 pm and Thursday, May 23rd from 6-7:30 pm. PTE is a federally funded program through Wake County Government that is FREE to all Wake County Residents, or those that are doing business in Wake County. PTE is designed to help Women, Minority Groups, Veterans, Individuals with Disabilities, Justice-Involved Populations, and Vulnerable Communities remove barriers to entry when starting a business through one-on-one work with a business professional who can help you get from ideation to the point of financial sustainability. The Pathway to Entrepreneurship program is now also offering participants weekly office hours with a Raleigh-Based Marketing Firm, and mini-grants to help offset the cost of starting a business. If you are interested in learning more about starting a business or are an existing business that is looking to reach financial sustainability, please join the information session to learn more about the program and get started creating or improving your business!
