Raleigh Parking is excited to announce that it has again partnered with the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) to create temporary holiday curbside pick-up zones to support quick stops at retail businesses to pick up gifts for the holidays. The program began November 21 and will run through early January 2024. At this time, we are deploying 6 holiday curbside zones. More to come!
Maximum time limit: 30 mins.
Selection of where to place the temporary zones is a fluid process. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to provide feedback to Raleigh Parking about zone locations. Requests to add Holiday Curbside Pickup Zones can be made by contacting Raleigh Parking at raleighparking@raleighnc.gov.

History
In June 2021, the Downtown Raleigh Alliance released the results of their Public Realm Study 2021. One of the key focus areas was assessing the need for expanding curbside pick-up zones in downtown. After a robust public outreach process, there were recommendations to provide a temporary deployment of cones/signs during the holiday season and marking these zones to facilitate easier access for shoppers to pick up gifts.
