Earth Day Film Screening: A Plastic Ocean

A Plastic Ocean is an award-winning feature-length documentary brought to you by a group of scientists, filmmakers, social entrepreneurs, scholars, environmentalists, and journalists, exploring our oceans' fragile state. The film documents the global effects of plastic pollution, and highlights workable technologies and innovative solutions that everyone - from governments to individuals - can do, to create a cleaner and greener ocean.

The City of Raleigh will be showing this film at several locations from April 20-27 in celebration of Earth Day April 22 and in recognition of the Global Earth Day theme “Planet vs. Plastic”. 

This film does contain images of dead or dying animals that may be distressing for young or sensitive viewers. Age recommendation: 10+
