Baseball Sportsmanship Awards

Henry

Mustang: Brewers
Henry never complains, no matter what position he’s playing. He cheers for his teammates and picks them up when they make mistakes. He’s respectful, kind, great catcher and fielder. He has a bright future to be a great leader.

Colt: Mariners
His positive can do attitude stands out when he showed to every practice ready to go and do whatever he could to prepare for the season ahead. He treats everyone with respect. From his willingness to play whatever position is asked of him without question or help one of teammates that may be struggling and offering his insights. He has set the example for the rest of the team on what sportsmanship, leadership, and overall good behavior on the field looks like.

Sophia

T-Ball: Pirates
Sophia was an excellent supporter of teammates and coaches during the season. She led by example and participated in practice drills and games with enthusiasm.

Bronco: Tigers
Cole has been an amazing teammate, always positive whether we're winning or losing. He's willing to play any position, including entire games at catcher in the heat. He listens to coaching and is great at helping his teammates understand the game. He's humble and never doubts himself.

Isla K.

Fastpitch Softball: Orioles
Isla earned this award with her leadership, positivity, and willingness to step up wherever the team needs her. Isla consistently sets an example for younger players—both on the field with her effort and adaptability, and in the dugout with her encouragement and “growth mindset.” Her attitude has helped inspire her teammates to challenge themselves, support each other, and improve throughout the season.

Fastpitch Softball: Braves
Campbell always has a great attitude, no matter what. She cheers on her team and gives 100 percent all the time. As a new player I was impressed by her growth and ability to learn as quickly as she did. Campbell truly understands the meaning of teamwork.

Natalie’s positivity and encouragement to all players on the field stands out. She sets the example for how important sportsmanship and positivity is for recreational leagues.

Taj truly embodies what youth sports should represent with his effort, respect, and integrity in every situation.
