Vehicle Fleet Services Receives Environmental Award

As a part of the 2024 Raleigh Environmental Awards program, Vehicle Fleet Services accepted the 'Dare to Be Green Award' for our outstanding dedication to demonstrating innovative approaches to environmental stewardship, with a focus on our efforts with renewable propane. We are incredibly excited to be recognized for our continued efforts towards creating a more sustainable fleet and look forward to our 'green' future. To learn more about how we use renewable propane to fuel our fleet, check out our Vehicle Fleet Services and Raleigh's Climate Action Plan page. The Raleigh Environmental Awards celebrate the best in climate action, community engagement, and corporate stewardship in the City.

The City celebrated Earth Day at Dix Park on Friday evening, April 19. The evening was an incredible community-based event that allowed our Vehicle Fleet Services (VFS) team members to showcase our commitment to a more sustainable future. VFS had the opportunity to interact with community members and talk to them about some of our initiatives to combat climate change within our organization while raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet. Additionally, team members helped plant trees and brought out some of our favorite electric vehicles to show the crowd.

Our community has inspired us to continue the journey to a cleaner future, and we hope that with events like the City's Earth Day celebration, we can encourage them as well.
