The City is installing new traffic signals at three intersections throughout Raleigh. 

  • Atlantic Avenue and Atlantic Springs Road; 
  • Atlantic Avenue and Singleton Industrial Drive; and,
  • Hillsborough Street and Park Avenue. 

Work in these location is scheduled to start in late February with work starting at the Atlantic Avenue and Singleton Industrial Drive intersection. The work at this location is expected to last thru March 31. From there crews will start work at the Atlantic Avenue and Atlantic Springs intersection, before moving to the Hillsborough Street and Park Avenue location.  

The work includes :

  • New traffic signals;
  • New pedestrian signals;
  • Curb ramp updates; and, 
  • Pavement Markings.

These signal improvements are part of the City's Vision Zero program.
