The $50 fine for running a red traffic signal was set by the North Carolina General Assembly.
There are a variety of ways to pay your SafeLight red-light citation. Choose the one that works best for you. If you run into any trouble or have questions, please reach out to customer service through email at SafelightRaleighCustomerCare@conduent.com or by calling 919-832-7436 during regular business hours.
You will need to have your citation number from the red-light citation you received in the mail in order to perform most payment options. Contact Customer Service and provide your license tag number and they can look up your citation number. 919-832-7436 (Select Option 0).

Please call during business hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday except City holidays. Select option 2. You will need to provide your citation number with the Pay-By-Phone option. If you do not have your citation number, Customer Service can search for your citation by your license plate number. Visa and MasterCard are the only payment methods accepted for phone payments. |
