Raleigh Transportation Hosting Job Fair September 8 and 9

The job fair will be held at the Raleigh Central Operations Facility, at 2550 Operations Way. The event is free and open to all candidates and backgrounds. Hiring managers will conduct on-site interviews! Please bring your resume, ID, and references.

“Raleigh continues to grow at an unprecedented pace," said Steve Halsey, Assistant Director. “With over 1,100 miles of streets and sidewalks, and 2.5 million feet of drainage pipes to maintain, the Department of Transportation has an immediate need for new team members.  Join a team of over 200 experienced individuals that keep Raleigh’s streets, sidewalks, and storm drainage systems in great condition for the citizens and visitors of Raleigh!”

We are looking for Seasonal and Full-time positions:

• Maintenance workers
• Equipment operators
• Seasonal leaf collection staff (no experience required)

These positions range from entry-level to experienced operators. Equipment operator applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a commercial driver’s license or the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license within 15 days of hire. Non-CDL positions are also available.
