Lake Lynn Study

Wake County and the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service of North Carolina are developing a Sustainable Watershed Plan and Environmental Assessment for Lake Lynn Dam, also known as Crabtree Creek Watershed Structure No. 22B.

During the project from March 15 to May 15, the lake level will be lowered to allow further study and investigation. Periodic trail closures will occur along the dam/spillway and sections of trail at each end of the dam/spillway. A portion of the parking area off Lynn Road will also be closed while most of the parking area will remain open and accessible. Thank you for your patience!
